K-cup caps for my Keurig Coffee Machine
I didn’t make, invent, or design the K-cup caps. I like them and made this little video to show my friends how to use them. Here’s the link to the site if you’re interested: www.my-kap.com Also if you don’t know what a Keurig coffee machine is – YOU gotta get one! They make great coffee and k-caps keep the cost of the coffee down.
greenday – I agree, I’ve done that too when we and it works well. Thanks for sharing.
@barnett256 My main problem with the my k cup was the quality of coffee it was producing. If I ground it too coarse, the coffee was too weak, but too fine and all I got was mud in my cup. My solution was to use the outer assembly of the my k cup but instead of using the mesh basket, I found that you can insert a used K cup. It’s a snug fit but it produces great coffee. Absolutely no mud and its plenty strong.
I have that assembly as well. It’s fine to use also. I prefer to use the k-caps because you reuse the k-cup and also you don’t have to take out the cup holder assembly from the Keurig machine. I find when using the my kcup assembly – EVERYBODY forgets to put the insert that holds the k-cups back into the machine. Plus there more cleaning involved with the my cup assembly.
Like I said – my kcup assembly is ok to use, but my preference is the kcap. Individual choice – that’s all.
@DistractionCascade as a keurig CSR Im wondering why not splurge and buy the $14 my kcup assembly
I didn’t have much luck with the foil – kind of leaky. But thanks for the suggestion.
What a great idea! I’m going to try that too!
to reuse mine I just take the original foil off, replace the grinds, and put new aluminum foil on top. it works!
I’ve found it works best with standard grind of coffee for the typical auto drip makers. not to coarse, not too fine, just right
